WHAT IS GYROKINESIS®?
Using the same principles as the GYROTONIC EXPANSION
SYSTEM®, GYROKINESIS®
works in a group class format on stools and mats. The class moves continuously,
articulating and mobilizing the spine in fluid, undulating motions. The work
is based on Yoga postures, breathing patterns and energetic principles. You
will work the joints and muscles of your back, shoulders, pelvis, and legs in
sitting, lying and standing positions, working both gently and vigorously. It
stimulates the nervous system and organs, and brings oxygen to the blood and
muscles.
